Wave in Action

Wave started in Muswell Hill, North London in 2009. Since then we’ve demonstrated how we're all valued equally through various inclusive activities.

With over a decade of experience, we're now focusing on helping other communities to mix. Each community's needs are different, but we hope that what we have done in Muswell Hill might give you some inspiration.

Keep scrolling to find out more about what we have achieved so far.

Through Wave I have had the pleasure of getting to know the most non-judgmental, loving and open minded group of people

Our research

According to our research, only 12% of people often mix socially with anyone with different abilities. Yet 81% are open to the idea.

We researched attitudes towards people with and without learning disabilities mixing, and the potential for community change.

See the video highlights and click below for a preview of the research findings.
